Meeting tables for Cambridge University - The Tudor trestles were commissioned by the Cambridge Department of Architecture to provide communal seating in the school's central gallery - home to the departments microwave and sink and a popular place for tutorials and talks.
Rabble adapted a three legged medieval trestle design whilst working with an oak framer in Knebworth. The Tudor Trestles legs are made from English Oak and the top from waxed Stevenage scaffolding boards. An A1 birch plywood inlay allows smooth sketching. Two tables were designed and built by Rabble in 2014.
